| Review: Texas Killing Fields |
| Inspired by a string of real life unsolved murders in a small Texan town, Texas Killing Fields tells of two cops – one a local boy (Worthington), the other a New York City transplant (Morgan) - who team up to investigate the killing of a young prostitute. Aussie Jason Clarke plays the pivotal part of a dangerous, tattoo-covered thug who may or may not be responsible for the murder. Featuring an amazing line-up of actors – Worthington, Morgan, Jessica Chastain from The Tree of Life and Kick-Ass scene-stealer Chloë Grace Moretz - Texas Killing Fields was directed by Ami Canaan Mann, daughter of legendary filmmaker Michael Mann (Miami Vice, Collateral). She has clearly inherited her father’s knack for sensational storytelling. |
