Whoa! Please hang on a moment whilst we get our breath back after watching the trailer for the forthcoming Sam Worthington action extravaganza Man on a Ledge.
It may have a disarmingly drab and literal title – Sam’s a man, he’s on a ledge – but this flick looks anything but boring. Being from the people behind two of our fave actioners, The Transporter and Red, that probably shouldn’t surprise us.
Our Sam plays Nick Cassidy, an ex-cop now out of the clink after being framed for a diamond heist. It seems he’s suicidal about his lot – or is he? As a psychologist (Elizabeth Banks) engages him, and the SWAT and most any vehicle in New York with sirens and flashing lights descend, could there be something else going down? Whoa!
