Whilst Barbie and Ken seem quite content to hang out with other toys, their contemporary GI Joe reckons he's above that. So, the bloke with cute-to-the-touch peach fuzz hair and realistic kung-fu grip does the full-on war thing.

Except, of course, that somewhere along the line GI Joe went from being a doll-siz... erm, sorry, action figure-sized depiction of everything manhood has to offer (well, save for one obvious bit) to a whole organisation.

Despite such liberties, the first GI Joe flick was a bit of actiontastic fun with a capital 'D.U.H.', and with a bit of a casting change due to necessity - check out the trailer below and you'll know what I mean - we're given more Big Dumb Action Film goodness in the follow-up, GI Joe: Retaliation, with not only Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson incoming, but also the one and only Mr Bruce Willis. Check out his arrival towards the end of the trailer and try not to get excited!
