The title alone tells you a lot of what you need to know about this game – fans need read no further because this is for you. For the uninitiated (and where have you been?), Jackass The Game is based on the ultra-popular TV and movie series of the same name. The concept is pretty simple; a bunch of guys doing crazy, dangerous and outrageous stunts all in the name of comedy and mayhem.
The game has stayed very true to the series and the core gameplay involves taking control of the gang as they complete stunts ranging from barrelling down a hill in a garbage can to causing chaos on a golf buggy.
There are 35 stunts in all and with no two stunts being the same, there’s enough variety here to while away many an hour with the Jackass crew. Fans will be happy to know that the Jackass gang are faithfully recreated in the game, with Johnny Knoxville, Wee Man and Steve-O on hand to participate in the fun (or pain, as the case may be).
But believe it or not, Jackass The Game has a creative edge as well. When regular director Jeff Tremaine is injured in a stunt gone wrong, you take over – and it’s up to you to produce the remaining seven episodes.
Jackass The Game is a whole lot less dangerous than attempting these stunts in real life and just about as much fun – grab your shopping trolley and get ready for a crazy ride! |
